• You don't have 15+ years experience in planning and development - We're looking for a Jedi town planner with most of their experience in development assessment (if you have less than 15+ years experience check out our Senior Town Planner role).

• You aren't ready to leave the security blanket of a government job - We believe that the benefits of working for yourself, in your home office with no commuting whilst tapping into the collective wisdom of some of the best planners in Australia speak for themselves. But you do need to have the self-confidence to step out of a government package. If you qualify for this role, you have such exceptional skills and knowledge that you no longer need council's security blanket. What you need is lifestyle and knowing that you're making a difference in projects and people's lives.

• You don't want to further your professional development - As part of you being part of our team we will pay for your annual Planning Institute of Australia membership.

So what will I be doing?

• Lead the formulation of projects

• Help clients understand options for development and their likelihood of a project.

• Use your skills to assist our team of senior town planners and other consultants to bring about the project.

• Be the final peer review on formulated applications before submission to Council.

• Deal with local government areas across NSW on all categories of projects, and

• Attend daily virtual team meetings with core team members.

*Set up as one of our self-employed contractors: Billable hours per week at a negotiated rate based on your experience.
